Bag of ready to eat Thai Weaver Ants.
Each bag contains approximately 200 dehydrated Weaver Ants and eggs (40g before dehydration).
Ants are sealed in a special foil bag with an oxygen absorber giving a shelf life of 12 months
Weaver Ants and their eggs are consumed as a delicacy in Thailand’s northeastern region. Their bitter taste improves the flavour of dishes such as “dancing prawn salad” (live baby prawns) and are also eaten fresh or cooked with a little seasoning.

Serving suggestions:
Weaver ants can be eaten from the bag.They taste slightly bitter so a little extra seasoning may be required for each persons individual taste.
