Do you have some general shipping information?
In-stock orders normally ship within 1-2 business days unless otherwise noted. Generally, all items on backorder or out of stock are marked as such on the site. All shipping transit times quoted are business days (Monday-Friday), not calendar days. Please note that all processing and shipping times are estimates only. If you need your order by a certain date please contact us before placing the order.
For all international orders, you can choose between Thai Airmail (7-14+ business days 'approx'), or EMS courier (5-7+ business days 'approx'). If your order ships via EMS you will receive an e-mail with a tracking number when your order ships, if you do not recieve a number please contact us and we will send it to you a.s.a.p. You will also be able to view your order status and tracking numbers via the EMS website as follows. http://track.thailandpost.com/trackinternet/. Please note that shipping times listed are estimates only and are not guaranteed in any way. Also, please note that shipping times are slower than usual at the moment due to limited international flights during covid-19 epidemic.
EMS Courier & International Airmail
Can you ship to P.O. Boxes?
If your Shipping address is a PO Box, we cannot use EMS courier, and your order will be switched over Registered Thai Airmail. Some orders may be subject to verification of billing/shipping information, and may be delayed because of this. We are not responsible for delays or mis-shipments when a P.O. Box address is used.
Can you ship to APO/FPO addresses?
We are able to ship most of our products to U.S. Military APO/FPO addresses when sent via standard airmail. EMS and registered Thai Airmail is not allowed for Military APO/FPO addresses. Unfortunately, we cannot supply tracking numbers for shipments to APO/FPO addresses. We send all shipments to APO/FPO addresses using Thai Airmail. Please note, orders shipped to an APO/FPO address do take longer to be delivered. Please allow 2-4 weeks for your package to arrive.
How much is shipping?
It depends on what you are ordering, how much you are ordering, and where it is shipping. You can determine the cost of shipping your order by adding the items you want to the shopping cart and entering your zip code or country in the Shipping Estimator on the cart page. You can also get the shipping cost during checkout - you will need to fill out your shipping address in order to view the shipping options and cost. Do you ship outside Thailand?
Absolutely. After placing items in your shopping cart, proceed to the checkout area. Complete the Shipping and Billing information, including selecting your country. We have chosen Thai Airmail and EMS as the carriers for our International orders. They both offer reasonable shipping rates compared to other express carriers.
Will I have to pay customs fees on my order?
Your order will probably be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) when it arrives. Unfortunately, ThailandUnique has no control over these fees. If you are not familiar with the customs fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information. Also, because we are a retail store, we are NOT able to mark orders as 'Gifts' for customers to avoid paying these fees.
The shipping charges you pay to ThailandUnique do NOT include customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned to ThailandUnique and we will be charged the customs fees plus return shipping costs. Therefore, we do not issue refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order if you refuse to pay the customs fees.
ThailandUnique has no way of estimating customs fees, taxes, duties, etc. so please do not ask us to do so - we don't have this information. Please contact your local customs office if you need to know more.
It is possible that the delivery of your order could be delayed due to customs processing. If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time, you should check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package for payment of fees. Also, some customs offices will send a separate invoice for your customs fees that could arrive several weeks after you receive your shipment. Please be familiar with the customs laws in your country before you order!
From time to time parcels can get held up for various reasons or delayed at customs.
Unfortunately, we do not have any control over delays with our various carriers. Once your order is handed over to the postal service you have chosen, Thailand Unique cannot be held responsible for delays. We regret to say that refunds cannot be issued on orders that are delayed.
It is the buyer's responsibility to enter the correct shipping address when ordering. Thailand Unique will not be responsible for any delays or returns due to an incorrect address or an error made by the customers postal service. If the item is returned for this reason the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping charges. Refunds will not be issued on orders returned due to incorrect addresses or any errors made by the customers postal service. Please check your shipping address carefully before confirming the order.
If you have urgent shipping needs or a deadline, please contact us to enquire about expedited shipping. We will advise you which shipping method to use and whether we can deliver your order(s) on time.
What are your accepted payment methods?
Our stores default currency is U.S. Dollars, however this can be changed to your desired currency using the drop down box at the top of the shop. Online payment services provided by 2Checkout.com, Inc . We also accept PayPal.
Can I import this candy/drink/caffeine/alcohol product into my country?
Every country's import and customs laws vary, so you will have to check with your local customs office before ordering to make sure you will be able to import your goodies. Many countries consider caffeine or alcohol a controlled substance, so proceed with caution when ordering these products. You will also need to be of lawful age in your country of origin when ordering products containing alcohol.
Customs Clearance & other shipping Issues
As the importer, you bear sole responsibility for the clearance of the goods and any issues that may arise from an inspection, hold or refusal. Typically, the consignee of the shipped packets is taken as the importer in any problem case.
What does the Order Status and/or Product Status mean?
This indicates the current status of your order, or of each item within your order. There are several statuses:
Pending - Your order has been accepted and will be processed soon.
Processing/Complete - Your order has been transmitted to the packing/shipping department, and our staff are gathering all of your products and preparing them to be shipped. (Note that your order could remain in this state for several days.)
Shipped - Your order has been fully shipped. Your credit card has been fully charged at this point.
Canceled - Your order has been canceled and normally your credit card has not been billed. If it was billed, we have issued a proper refund which should appear on your next statement.
Refunded - Your order has been canceled and your payment has been refunded.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
You may return a product for refund, store credit, or exchange (if due to ThailandUnique error) within 15 days of the order arrival date (This can be confirmed with your tracking number). All returns must be accompanied with documentation. If we shipped you the wrong product, or it arrived defective or damaged, no problem. Just contact us within 15 days of receiving your order to arrange for the return of your purchase. We will send a replacement or refund you for your purchase, provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging.
Unfortunately we can't issue refunds on any food or drink products unless they arrived defective, damaged or passed their use by date. If you experience either of these issues, please provide photo evidence or send the item(s) back and we will refund you for your purchase. When we recieve your return or photo evidence via email, you will be issued a refund to your credit card or an email gift certificate (store credit) for the merchandise only. Also, please note that opened food products cannot be returned for refund or store credit. Additional restrictions may apply, please contact us for more information.
We do not issue refunds for orders delayed by the postal service, courier, or customs. Please see our shipping page for our current policies.
Can I just exchange my items for new ones?
At this time, we do not process even exchanges. If you need a different flavour/weight of an item you ordered, when your return is received, you will be issued a gift certificate (store credit) for the amount of the item.
