Longan Stink Bugs - Tessaratoma papillosa
Tessaratomidae nymphs arrive at the beginning of the rainy season and are common in secondary woods. They are a local delicacy in northeast Thailand. This bag contains approximately 20-30 stink bugs. They are collected one month before the rainy season and are only available during this time. They are collected fresh and quickly frozen, cleaned, dehydrated, seasoned, and then packed in a special vacuum pouch with an oxygen absorber. Remove the outer wings first before eating.
